Gregorio Gabuya

Gregorio Franco Gabuya, 89, of Huntersville, NC passed away on September 19, 2019. He was born in the Philippines on April 24, 1930.

He enjoyed traveling, fishing, and gardening. He attended St. Therese Catholic Church and then moved to St. Mark Catholic Church.

Gregorio is preceded in death by his parents and fourteen brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife, Basilia; daughter, Julie Castle and her husband Jr.; son, Romeo Gabuya, and his wife Amy; grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Aaron; and four great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special thanks to his hospice Chaplain, Amanda; and his special nurses at Old Knox Commons: Sara, Thomas, and Janice.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 pm on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home.

Memorial Donations may be made to Lake Norman Hospice, St. Jude or Shriners Children Hospital.
