Grace Powell Grigg

Grace Powell Grigg, 81, of Stanley, NC passed away March 1, 2015. Grace was born March 20, 1933. She was an accomplished quilter and an avid camper. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Powell and her second husband, Richard Grigg. Grace leaves her loving family with many cherished memories; daughter, Janet Tatum and husband Lee; sons, Sam Powell and wife Rita, Jeff Powell and wife Sandra; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Hills Chapel UMC from 6:00 -8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Hills Chapel UMC in Stanley, NC with Rev. Val Rosenquist officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn West Cemetery in Charlotte, NC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hills Chapel UMC Building Fund or Hospice of Lincoln County.
