Glendora Buena Bowman Jackson

Glendora Bowman Jackson, 86, of Mooresville, NC formerly of Cornelius, NC passed away Friday September 19, 2014. Glendora was born September 10, 1928 in Stokes County, NC to the late Charles and Buena Bates Bowman. She was a sweet, compassionate and loving person to all she met, and was truly strong in her faith. Glendora was the loving wife of James W. Jackson and mother to Berinda Jackson of Cornelius, NC. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Glendora was preceded in death by her two brothers, three sisters and her son, Mark D. Jackson. A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 25, 2014 at 11 am at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Jill Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery.
