Georgia Beth Rorrer

Mrs. Georgia Beth Akers Rorrer, 77, of Huntersville, NC passed Tuesday December 18, 2012 at her daughter's residence. Born May 20, 1935 in Pulaski, Virginia she was a daughter of the late Guy Wilson Akers and Ida Rigney Akers. Formerly of Pulaski Virginia she relocated to North Carolina in 1963. She was employed with Coca Cola Company from 1979 until her retirement and co-founder with her husband, Howard Rorrer, of Lake Norman Church of Christ. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday December 21, 2012 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 pm at Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin VA. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Connie Stinnette of Rock Hill, Vic Rorrer of Huntersville, Russell Rorrer and wife Debbie of Mooresville; siblings, Irene Palmer, James and Royce Akers; grandchildren, Melissa, Matthew, Megan, Bradley and Audrey; 3 great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Courtney and Austin In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Rorrer and her son, Bradley Rorrer.
