George Harold Rouse

George H Rouse, husband of Joyce Gladstone and step-father to Tammy Gladstone and Michelle Gedney passed away on March 10, 2012. He was also a doting grandfather to his only grandchild, Lauren Gedney. Mr. Rouse had been a quadriplegic since a 1981 skiing accident; for the past three decades he bravely fought all odds and continued to shock the medical community with his longevity and will to fight. A small service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, March 15, at 3:00 PM at the Laurels of Highland Creek 6101 Clarke Creek Parkway, Charlotte, NC In lieu of flowers, that family is requesting contributions be made in Mr. Rouse's name to the Christopher and Dana Reeves Foundation for spinal cord research. www.christopherreeve.org/
