George Atwood Kissee, Jr.

Mr. George "Sonny" Atwood Kissee, Jr., 58, of Iron Station, NC died Monday January 7, 2013 at Levine Dickson Hospice House. Born September 13, 1954 in Mecklenburg County he was a son of the late George A. Kissee, Sr. and Thelma Harrison Kissee. He was employed in the construction business. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 12, 2013 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home with Walt Whinley officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Rock Garden Cemetery in Elkview, West Virginia. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Michelle Leigh Kissee, Angela Stines, Joetta Bowman and Amy Parker; grandsons, William Joseph Jenkins, Travis Lee Bowman, Shamri Patterson, Nolan Parker; granddaughters, Ariel Parker; brother, Timothy Wayne Kissee and wife, Brenda; sisters, Deborah Kissee and Cynthia Ann Krause and husband Tony; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Fizer Kissee. In lieu of flowers, it was Mr. Kissee's wish donations be made to assist with restart of family to Joetta Bowman, P.O. Box 562, Iron Station, NC 28080.
