Gary Ham

Gary Lynn Ham, 64, of Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully on Friday June 12, 2015 at his home. Gary was born March 28, 1951 in Mooresville, NC to the late Robert F. Ham and Willie Ree Smith Ham. Gary was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and loving friend. He was a South Carolina Gamecock alumni and an avid fan. He was also a NASCAR fan, #3 being one of his favorites. Gary loved his profession, as a pharmacist, that enabled him to help others. He always had a welcoming smile and was loved by all. Gary was a retired pharmacist from the Rite-Aid in uptown Charlotte. Gary leaves to cherish his memory, his loving family; wife of 43 years, Iris Gosnell Ham; sons, Brian Ham and his wife Diane of Pomona Park, FL, Andrew Ham and his wife Amanda of Concord, NC; grandchildren, Hailey Lynn, Hannah Lee, Hayden Lizbeth Ham (who were the light of his life); brother, Bob Ham of N. Wilkesboro, NC; sister, Nancy DeCaron of Mooresville, NC; many extended family including his grandogs. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday June 16, 2015 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville. Visitation will be from 1:30 until the time of service at 3:00. The family would like to thank Dr. McMillan and Dr. Blake, the DSI Renal staff and all the Novant health care workers, who were his life care givers, for their loving care and friendship.
