Garlene L. Davis

Garlene L. Davis, 72, of Davidson, N.C. went home to be with the Lord on August 5, 2020.

Born in Mooresville, N.C, on August 23, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Christine Lothery and Wallace Lothery.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Fred Lothery and Wally Lothery.

Garlene attended North Mecklenburg High School, married sweetheart Larry F. Davis in 1965, and retired after working at Davidson College for 28 years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Larry F. Davis; children, Ronda Carter (Chancee), Sheila Davis, and Larry R. Davis (Rachael); as well as nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  

Garlene was a member of Houston Road Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, camping, and fishing.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 10, 2020, from 1:00-2:00 pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC.  A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
