Frieda Schaffer

Frieda E. Schaffer passed away on Wednesday January 24, 2024 to join her husband Albert, her parents George and Mary Ewers, and her sisters and brother in heaven. 

Frieda was born on February 7, 1928 in St.Anthony,Mo and she loved growing up there and going back for visits. 

She is survived by her sisters, Victoria Ewers, Mary Struemph, sister in law Patsy Ewers, and brother in law Fred Schaffer and his wife Brenda. She enjoyed all her nieces and nephews and could recall all of their birthdays. 

She will be missed by her children, Richard Schaffer wife Marlene, Cynthia Wortham husband Michael, Kevin Schaffer wife Mary, Mark Schaffer wife Camille and her grandchildren, Tim Schaffer wife Nicole, Sara Wortham, Rachel Wright husband Chris, Zach Wortham wife Jessica, Emily Schaffer husband Charlie McGeehan, Alex Schaffer, Leah Schaffer, and Emma Schaffer. Three great grandchildren, Sebastian McGeehan, Ella McGeehan, and Miles Wortham. 

On Monday January 29 her viewing will be from 10:30-11:00 am followed by a funeral mass officiated by Father Carlson and Deacon Rich at St. Marks Catholic at 14740 Stumptown Road, Huntersville NC 28078. We will then drive to Sunset Cemetery in Henderson, NC to be laid to rest next to Albert Schaffer.
