Frederick David Brumbaugh

Frederick David Brumbaugh, 77, of Davidson, NC passed away on February 12, 2016. He was born May 9, 1938 to the late Frederick W. Brumbaugh and Ruth M. Showalter.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Teri Jane.

Fred is survived by his loving wife, Carol; son Mark Brumbaugh; daughter, Pamela Brumbaugh, daughter, Jill Coughlin and her husband Bob and their children, Breanna, Jameson, Braeden, Joliana; brother, D. Clair Brumbaugh and his wife Sharon; and several nieces and nephews.

Fred was a member of the American Guild of Organists and New York State United Teachers. He attended the Union Theological Seminary in NYC, where he earned his Masters in Sacred Music. Fred served as the organist and choir master at First United Methodist Church in Schenectady. He taught vocal music mostly in the Schenectady City School District in addition to teaching private organ and piano lessons.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Schenectady, NY.
