Franklin Wayne Rogers

Franklin Wayne Rogers, 74, of Stanley, NC passed away November 25, 2016 at CMC University. Franklin was born September 15, 1942 in Salisbury, NC to the late Harold Franklin Rogers and Marie Eleanor Cauble Rogers. He was a systems specialist for Lucent Technology for many years and enjoyed listening to music and working on computers. Franklin loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife; Christine Mitchell Rogers; son, Jim Rogers (Nancy); daughter, Karen Church (Allen); grandchildren, Dawson and Leela Church.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 28, 2016 at 2:30 pm at Hills Chapel United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:30 – 2:30. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hills Chapel UMC, Building Fund, 988 South NC Hwy 16, Stanley, NC 28164.
