Frances Robinson

d. November 25, 2017

Mrs. Frances Robinson, of Charlotte, went to be with the Lord, November 25, 2017.  A Home Going service to celebrate her life will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, at Central Church of God with Reverend Gene Shelton officiating.  Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery West Mausoleum.  Visitation will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, at Central Church of God prior to her Home Going service.

Mrs. Robinson was born in Charlotte, NC, daughter of the late Dwight M. Faires and Dessie Faires Stewart.  She was a member of Central Church of God and Prime Timers.  Mrs. Robinson was a church pianist and sang in The Robinson Trio for many years.  Frances was a devoted Christian and church member, and was an avid supporter of her Pastor and church.  She graduated early, with honors, from high school.  Frances was Owner and President of Frances Robinson Sales, Inc.

Surviving are her daughter, Candy R. Griffin of Mooresville; grandchildren, Lindsay Dobson and Chase Griffin, Veteran, USMC; great grandchildren, Emma and Luke Griffin.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Charles L. Robinson; and her youngest daughter, Kimberly R. Cochran.

Frances was dearly loved and will be missed by many, but none so much as her daughter, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.  We take our comfort in the knowledge she has made it to her Heavenly Home and is with the Lord Jesus.  We will be reunited one day!
