Florence S. Trotter

Florence S. Trotter’s cancer journey came to an end on February 23, 2022. She was born May 3, 1944 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Edward O. Stoss and Virginia Horner Stoss. She attended Saddle Brook High School in Saddle Brook, NJ ad earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, NJ. 

Ms. Trotter is survived by her loving children, Alan Trotter of Playa del Rey, CA, and Melora Driver of Davidson, NC, and her beloved grandchildren, Zoe Driver and Griffin Driver, both of Davidson, NC. 

Ms. Trotter retired in 2009 from Quoizel Lighting in Goose Creek, SC and became the “Granny Nanny” to Zoe and Griffin.

She always believed in the spirit of volunteerism and throughout her life was a volunteer for church, school, scouts, and other organizations.

Funeral is 11am Friday, March 4, 2022 at St Alban’s Episcopal Church in Davidson, NC.
