Mrs. Florence Louise Johnson, 77, of Davidson, NC passed away on July 19, 2018 in Charlotte.
Florence “Florrie” was born on March 21, 1941 to the late Raymond and Doris Fentress in Norfolk, VA.
In 1961 she married Cliff Johnson, and they enjoyed life together until his death in 2006. She later met and fell in love with Joe Reardon, and they married in 2013. Florrie and Joe enjoyed traveling together, and they made several trips to Europe and around the U.S.
Florrie is survived by her husband Joe; children Michael Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Kevin Reardon, Karen Franklin, and their spouses, Andy de Seriere, Mary Johnson, David Hall, and Bo Franklin; grandchildren Samantha, Brittany, Katelyn, Allie, Olivia, Taylor, Ashley, and Sam; and great-grandson Maxton. She is also survived by her brothers; Ray and Gary Fentress their spouses Lynn and Lisa, and niece and nephews; Maria, Scott and Adam.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Florrie also donated the sanctuary lamp at St. Mark Church. It will forever be a glowing symbol of her.
Heartfelt thanks go to Dr. McWilliams, the nursing staff at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, and all the nurses who attended to Florrie.
Her funeral will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at St. Mark Catholic Church. Monsignor Richard Bellow, a long-time friend, will deliver the homily. The family will receive friends at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home Monday, July 23 from 6:00-8:00pm; where Deacon Louis Pais will address friends and family.
