Faye L. Cantrell

Faye was born in Nichols, SC on August 2, 1934 to the late R.L. and Lillian Causey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Cantrell; son, Randy Cantrell; sister, Ruby Cribb; and brother, James Causey. 

 
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Stewart (Ted) and Sherry Cantrell Southworth; grandchildren Jennifer Cherry (Andrew), Trey Robinson, Colton Southworth, step-granddaughter, Crystal Beacham;  great-grandchildren, Reese Cherry, Ben Cherry, Sam Cherry, and step great-grandchildren, Madi Beacham and Kai Beacham.

Faye retired from First Baptist Church where she worked as a daycare teacher. She began her career as a daycare teacher at Hopewell Presbyterian Church. She spent thirty-five years doing something she loved every single day, taking care of and teaching children.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 30th, 2018 at 10:00AM at Hopewell Presbyterian Church, Huntersville, North Carolina.  Funeral Services will be held following visitation at Hopewell Presbyterian Church, Huntersville, NC  at 11:00 a.m. with graveside service to follow.  Reverend Allan Purtill will be officiating the services.

The Cantrell family is under the care of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Huntersville.
