Evy Ase Wistum Nordhuus

Evy Åse Wistum Nordhuus, age 78, of Huntersville, NC passed away on April 16, 2022. Evy was born in Norway on January 8, 1944 to the late Fritjhof Wistum and the late Anne Minde Wistum.

Evy was retired from Carolina’s Healthcare System where she worked as a Mail Services Clerk.  She loved to talk about her Scandinavian heritage, loved horses and animals, enjoyed music and dancing, and above all else loved and cherished her grandchildren.

Evy is survived by her two daughters, Rita Madsen and Irene Saunders; and her four grandchildren, Kristian Madsen, Hannah Madsen, Jacob Grafton and Nicholas Grafton.

A private memorial service will be held on May 17^th in Wrightsville Beach, NC, where the family will gather and commemorate her life.
