Everett Arthur Linville

Everett Arthur Linville, 93, of Cornelius, NC passed away on April 14, 2022.

Everett was born in Chillicothe, Missouri on October 6, 1928, to the late Jefferson C. and Ina May Prosser Linville.

Everett married Jacqueline (Jackie) Corcoran, his wife of 64 years. He lived in Boca Raton, Florida and retired from the US Post Office in 1990. Everett and Jackie moved to Cornelius, NC in 1996 where they both were active members of King’s Way Baptist Church. Everett loved music, poetry and traveling.

Along with his parents Everett is preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Corcoran Linville; sister, Lena Bowers and five brothers: Ray, Howard, Ralph, Wilbur and Harold.

He is survived by his three daughters, Cheryl Moynihan and husband Shaun of Cornelius, NC: Darleen Beaver and husband Doug of Huntsburg, OH, and Karen Ervin and husband David of China Grove, NC; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren as well as nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews. 

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday May 1, 2022 at Camino Church, 201 Stetson Dr. Charlotte, NC 28262.

Interment will be held at Gethsemane Cemetery and Memorial Gardens.
