Evelyn Ruth Raymer

Evelyn Ruth Kiser Raymer, 79, of Cornelius, passed away September 20, 2018.  Evelyn was born August 14, 1939 in Shelby, NC to the late James David Kiser and Polly Mosley Kiser. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John McLain Raymer, son, Jeffrey Scott Raymer and sister Barbara Morgan.

Evelyn was a graduate of Lowrence Nursing School along with being a Girl Scout leader.  She was a big fan of the Atlanta Braves and loved reading, being outdoors and a good cup of coffee.

Evelyn is survived by her daughters; Tracie Richardson of Monroe, Polly Davis (Dennis) of Cornelius; son, Michael Raymer of Cornelius; grandchildren, Sarah Jarvis, Michael McLain Raymer, Jr, John Kenneth Raymer, Benjamin Kyle Raymer, Autumn Michelle Raymer and Harper Richardson; six great grandchildren; sister, Shelbie (Grady) Allen; brother, Bill (Ruth) Kiser; many nieces and nephews and her dog, Charlie.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 3:00PM with burial at Ramah Church Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
