Evelyn Jenkins McCallum

Mrs. Evelyn Jenkins McCallum, 92, of Charlotte, NC died Friday, June 22, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital. She was born September 24, 1920 in Charlotte to the late J. R. Jenkins and Blanche Moore Jenkins. She was a charter member of Midwood Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school, played the organ and sang in the choir. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Sharon Memorial Park with Rev. Gary Baldwin officiating. She is survived by her husband, James McCallum and in-laws, Hubert (Bernice) McCallum, Marian Heath, William (Barbara) McCallum, David (JoAnn) McCallum, Judy (Jerry) Pinkard and Butch (Brenda) McCallum.
