Eva Elizabeth Burkett

Mrs. Eva Elizabeth Burkett, 60, of Denver NC formerly of Cornelius, NC died Monday March 5, 2012 at her residence. Born December 31, 1951 in Birmingham, Alabama she was the daughter of William and Christine Florence Houseal of Fripp Island, SC. Mrs. Burkett was a member of Cowan's Ford Country Club and the Peninsula Country Club. She enjoyed golfing and tennis, was an avid gardener and a member of numerous garden clubs. A celebration of her life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday March 8 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery in Cornelius, NC. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Robert "Bob" W. Burkett; parents, William and Christine Houseal; children, Kristi Krankousky, Dianna Brown and husband Sean, Robert Gordon Burkett; grandchildren, Ryan and Austin Krankousky and Samantha Brown; siblings, Alice Vinson, Melissa Gayle, William Houseal and her beloved canine companion, Annie.
