Esther "Ruth" King

Esther "Ruth" King, 80, of Mooresville, NC, passed on June 23, 2017.

She was born in Charlotte, NC on May 26, 1937 to the late Andrew Jackson Bartlett and Juanita Helen Austin.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest "Jack" King; children, Robert Jackie King, and Sherry Lynn King.

She is survived by her Daughter, Dawn Parker and son in-law Chifen Parker; Grandchildren, Jessica Bradshaw, CJ Parker; Great grandchildren, Jackson, Paisley, Wyatt Wilhovsky, Tripp Parker; Siblings, Jackie Edwards, Jimmy Riley, and Janice Henery.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC. The family will receive friends from 10-11 am prior to the service. Following the service she will be laid to rest at Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte, NC.

Donations may be made to Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, NC.

Ruth was a very loving, caring, person. She always put other's needs before her own. Her faith always carried her through difficult times.
