Erson James Hager

Mr. Erson James Hager, 87 of Stanley, NC died August 10, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center. Born December 11, 1926 in Lincoln County he was a son of the late Eddie Clegg Hager and Lucy Edward Hager. Mr. Hager was a WWII veteran and a carpenter. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday August 13, 2014 at Hills Chapel United Methodist Church. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Pricilla Hyett, Mellie Hager, Rhonda Williamson; son, James Darrell Hager; wife, Martha Hager; sisters Janet Howie, Hattie Cobb, Norrie Merritt; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Eddie Joe Hager. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimers Disease Association, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215 Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huntersville, NC is assisting the family.
