Elizabeth Helene Speck

Elizabeth H. Parro Speck, 97, born in Cleveland OH, passed away peacefully October 17, 2015, in Huntersville, NC surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Parro. Betty will join her three siblings in Heaven: Louis Parro, Margaret DeVoe, and William Parro. Betty graduated from West Tech High School, where she met her late husband Robert M. Speck. Betty was a secretary until she retired at age 73. She was passionate about helping others and loved her family dearly. Betty had two children, Hollis Borges, husband, Ronald; and late Roger G. Speck, wife, Mary. She is survived by five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many loving friends. Her beautiful smile and the twinkle in her eye will be greatly missed. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, October 23, 2015 in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted.
