Elizabeth "Oretha" Shoemaker

Elizabeth Oretha Rogers Shoemaker, 81 of Huntersville, passed away Saturday July 30, 2011 at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House. She was born in Hoganvilles, GA on June 6, 1930 to the late Willie D. and Vinnie Thompson Rogers. Oretha was retired from the textile engraving field. She is survived by her daughter Angela B. Kaiser of Huntersville, son, Richard Louis Shoemaker, Jr. and wife Cindy of Mt. Holly, brother, Clarence Rogers of Atlanta . Grandchildren Colin, Caleb, Lyndsey, Kenzie, Rikie and Sydney. One great granddaughter Kezley. Friends will be received Sunday July 31, 2011 at The Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home 16901 Old Statesville Rd. Huntersville, NC from 6:00 pm 8:00 pm where funeral services will be held on Monday August 1, 2011 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Rick Felts officiating.
