Elizabeth Clark Norton

Elizabeth Clark Norton, 87, of Harrisburg, NC passed away January 4, 2015. Elizabeth was born May 4, 1927 in Ringgold, VA to the late Almon Edward Clark and Nellie Shaw Clark. She graduated from Dan River High School in Danville, VA and attended Averette College. Elizabeth married Rev. Zane Grey Norton on March 25, 1951. Along with her husband she is survived by her son Laron Clark Norton and his wife Patricia (Trish) of Monroe, NC; grandchildren, Alexandria Alisa Ault of Dallas, NC, Nicholas Clark Norton, Logan William Norton and Matthew James Norton all of Monroe, NC. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Edward Zane Norton, daughters; Sharon Janelle Norton, Alisa Renee Norton; brother, William Edward Clark. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private. The family would like to thank the staff at Universal Health Care- Alzheimer Unit for the wonderful care that was given to Elizabeth during her stay.
