Elizabeth Weidler Gustafson

Elizabeth Weidler Gustafson, 49, of Huntersville, North Carolina passed away on September 21, 2021.

She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on January 4, 1972 to Raymond Weidler and the late Helen Weidler.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Jason Gustafson; her two daughters, Abby Gustafson and Claire Gustafson; her father, Raymond Weidler; and her sister, Helen Fleming and family.

Elizabeth graduated from Meredith College and was a teacher in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools before becoming a stay-at-home mom to care for her daughters.  She loved the beach, hiking in the mountains, and staying active in her church, Grace Covenant.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Grace Covenant Church, 17301 Statesville Rd., Cornelius, NC 28031.

Memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth’s memory to Chameleon’s Journey Grief Camp or to Meredith College located on Hillsborough Street, Raleigh, North Carolina.
