Elizabeth Tracy Allison, 54, of Davidson, NC passed away on August 15th, 2018. Elizabeth was born in Marysville, CA on August 22nd, 1963 to her parents, Frankie D. Slowey and the late Col. Richard (Dick) J. Slowey. Throughout her childhood, Elizabeth traveled the globe with her military family eventually leading her to Alexandria, VA, where she met her future husband and later graduated from Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Arts. Elizabeth and Craig married in the fall of 1987 in Southern California where they welcomed their first born, Alex. Their travels would later bring them back to Alexandria, VA where they welcomed their second child, Sean. After a few moves, their family settled in Columbus, OH where they enjoyed raising their family for 15 years. As their kids were finishing college, Elizabeth and Craig decided to make Davidson, NC their home, a home they have enjoyed for the last 8 years.
Along with her late father, Elizabeth is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Col. John (Bud) C. Allison. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Craig Allison, her daughter Alexandria Wellman and husband Gregory, her son Sean Allison and her beloved rescued Labrador, Chance. She is also survived by her mother, Frankie Slowey, her sister and brothers, Theresa Roach and husband Taulby, Joseph Slowey and wife Berni, Peter Slowey and wife Erin, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Matthew Allison and wife Christianne, mother-in-law Janet Allison, along with her nieces and nephews Madison Roach, Joseph Roach, Colin Allison, Nick Slowey, Erin Allison, Jack Slowey, Ryan Allison, Willie Slowey, and Rose Slowey.
Elizabeth had recently achieved a life-long dream of becoming a real estate agent. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, boating on Lake Norman, expanding her knowledge in business and real estate, and spending time with her family.
Elizabeth will always be remembered for her quick wit, her humorous charm, her pride for our military men and women, and above all else, her passionate love for her family. Her love was fierce and her passion was felt in everything she did. Her spirit will live on through her loved ones forever.
Funeral arrangements are scheduled for Tuesday, August 28th, at St. Mark Catholic Church located at 14740 Stumptown Rd, Huntersville, NC. The family will receive friends from 10AM-10:45AM with the funeral service following at 11AM. Burial will be held immediately after at the Mimosa Cemetery located at 518 South Street, Davidson, NC.
