Elder Leonard Eugene Logan, 76, of Concord, NC died October 21, 2011 in Five Oaks Manor, Concord, NC. He was born May 2, 1935 in Columbia, SC son of the late James H. and Hester Turner Logan. Elder was a US Army veteran serving in Korea and retired from the city of Charlotte Street Maintenance Department. He was a member of Jesus Christ Full Gospel Church where he served as an elder. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Russell E. Logan, two brothers and two sisters. Surviving are his wife Betty Keziah Logan, a son Leonard L. Logan of Albemarle, NC, daughter Patty Matthews and her husband Barry of Concord, NC. Four granddaughters, whom he loved very much, Melissa Williams, Suzanne Lineberger, Kristen Gadaire, and Caitlyn Hanna, four greatgrand children, four sisters and one brother. Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home where services will be held on Wednesday October 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Michael Hedgecoe officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Mint Hill, NC. Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family. www.raymerfh.com
