Eileen F. Fisher

Eileen F. Fisher, 91, of Davidson, NC passed away at her home on November 6, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Eileen was born on April 23, 1930, in Bowling Green, MO to the late Gesina K. Feldman and William A. Feldman. She met the love of her life, Daniel Baxter Fisher, when he was a lineman for the telephone company. They married on July 7, 1949 and moved to the family farm in Davidson, NC where they raised their three children and remained there until her death.

Eileen worked at Reeves Brothers in Cornelius, NC and Magla Products in Huntersville, NC. She spent most of her life being a farmer's wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Eileen was an avid gardener, loved crafts and most of all taking care of her beloved farm animals.

Eileen was the last remaining owner of the land that became Fisher Farm Park in Davidson, NC.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Baxter Fisher; brother, Anthony Feldman, William Feldman, Jr., both of Bowling Green, MO, Aurelia Orr of Vandalia, MO, Vernita Oney of Springfield, IL, Dorothy Bunton of Bowling Green, MO, Darlene Baumann of Louisiana, MO, Shirley Elgin of Bowling Green, MO, grandson Paul Fisher of New Bern, NC, and one great grandchild.

She is survived by her children, Daniel B. Fisher, Jr. and wife Cheri of Rockingham, NC, Jackie W. Fisher and wife Barbara of Clover, SC, and Deborah F. Smith and husband Mike of Mooresville, NC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, multiple nieces, and nephews. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Bud Baumann of Louisiana, MO, and sister-in-law Pat Feldman of Bowling Green, MO.

The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County. They would also like to thank the grandchildren, Neal Fisher and Michael and Nancy Smith for the care given to her that enabled her to stay in her home until her passing.

Mrs. Fisher has chosen cremation by Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home of Huntersville, NC. No visitation is planned, and her ashes will be interred in a private gathering by the family at Mimosa Cemetery in Davidson, NC, on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 2pm.
