Earl "Mark" Clemens, 65 of Charlotte, NC died Saturday March 29, 2014 at Northeast Medical Center in Concord, NC. Born August 19, 1948; died March 29, 2014 of Lung Cancer. Survived by Carol Slavick (wife), Chris Andersen (son), Christine Andersen (daughter-in-law), Joy Andersen (daughter), and Brittney Andersen (granddaughter). He was an author of "Think and Grow Fit", theologian, entrepreneur and athlete. Of all his achievements, keeping fit by working out daily was a top priority. This he did to the best of his ability up until the day before he died. In body, health and spirit, Mark worked to motivate others and always wished to improve the quality others could achieve in their own lives. He inspired his family to persevere and to never give up in spite of any odds. When people thought of him, he'd want them to say: "If anybody can do it, Mark can." His Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday April 2, 2014. Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 16901 Old Statesville Road , Huntersville, NC is assisting the family. Friends may offer condolences to the family at www.raymerfh.com.
