Douglas Paul Dunn

March 9, 1968 — December 27, 2021

Doug was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1968 to Dick and Charlotte Dunn.  At the age of 4 months he moved with his family to Charlotte, North Carolina. Doug graduated from East Mecklenburg High School and proceeded to graduate from Appalachian State University with a double major in Healthcare Management and Risk Management. He was a proud Mountaineer and a lifelong supporter of the Yosef Club.

After graduation, he was employed by The Wellness Plan, Well Path and Group Benefits Solutions. In 2006, he started his own company EBA, Employee Benefit Advisors, Inc., which he proudly grew and treated as his fourth child. The passion he displayed for his clients well-being was incomparable.
Throughout his life, he was an avid Deadhead, insurance genius, excellent tennis player, two time Ironman, mediocre golfer, amazing father, loving husband, and friend to everyone he met. He recently became a proud PaPa with the birth of his sweet grandson, Oliver-Douglas Grey Joen.
