Dorothy Louise Quier, 90, of Davidson, North Carolina, passed away August 12, 2021. She was formerly of Pittsburg, KS and Joplin, MO.
She was born November 26, 1930 in Walnut, Kansas to the late Charles and Geraldine Welty Clark. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by husband, George T. Quier, and her son, Jeffrey Quier.
Surviving are her daughter, Cheri (Steve) Thebeau; former daughter-in-law, Terry (Doug) Ward; grandchildren, Brooklin (Brent) Hann, Matthew (McKenzie) Thebeau, Paige Quier, and Amber Rey; and great-grandchildren, Harper Hann, Georgia Grace Thebeau, Aria Quier, Elena Quier, Aiyah Rey and Jordan Rey.
Dorothy was dedicated to her church and church choir, enjoyed playing piano and organ, teaching Sunday school and teaching piano lessons. She enjoyed boating and playing board and card games with her family. Above all, she cherished time with her beloved family and she will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 11:00 am, at the Park Plaza Church in Joplin, MO.
