Dorothy Barbara Detardo Bush

Dorothy Barbara Detardo Bush, 86, of Huntersville, NC passed away peacefully on November 20, 2016 at the Huntersville Oaks.

Dorothy was born September 27, 1930 in Cleveland, OH to the late Patrick and Anna Fader Detardo. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of Assurance Methodist Church in Huntersville. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Bush; son, John K. Bush; son-in-law, Bob Lee and sister, Evelyn Detardo.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Tommy Bush of Denver, NC, Tim Bush and his wife Rebecca of Leland, NC; three daughters, Colleen Parker and her husband William of Charlotte, NC, Carol Bush of Greenville, SC and Barbara Lee of Santa Cruz, CA; grandchildren, Michael Parker and his wife Rebecca, Lindsay Parker, Carson Bush, Camden Bush, Aidan Bush, Finn Bush and Amelia Bush; great-grandson, Braydon Parker; sister Virginia Johnston of Babson Park, FL.
