Doris Yoshie Steagall

Doris Yoshie Takayama Steagall, 78, of Cornelius, NC passed away Thursday November 27, 2014 at the Harris Hospice Unit / Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte. Doris was born September 21, 1936 in Honolulu, Hawaii to the late Tsuneo and Kirie Takayama. Doris enjoyed going to the casino's. She loved cooking, baking and making sushi, but her most cherished time was spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Doris is survived by her loving family; husband, Melvin Steagall; daughter, Kimberly Heesch and her husband Neil, of Cornelius, NC; grandchildren, Jaeden, Teagan, Kierin, Reisen; four sisters; three brothers; many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her seven siblings. Funeral services will be private.
