Doris Mary Marten Garbutt

Doris Mary Marten Garbutt, 87, of Cornelius, NC passed away Friday January 25, 2013. Doris was born January 7, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Norman and Margaret Schuhoff Marten. Doris was a homemaker and was married to the late Ira O. Garbutt who passed away in 1997. One of her favorite things was to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Doris is survived by her sons; Tom Garbutt (Patricia) of NY, Rick Garbutt (Susan) of CA, Mike Garbutt (Robin) of TX, Ira Garbutt (Heather) of CA, daughter; Diane Mafera (Jack) of Huntersville, NC, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday January 28, 2013 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home with Rev. Louis Pais officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
