Donovan "Don" Resh

Donovan Lynn Resh, 71, of Huntersville, NC passed away on May 29, 2020.  Donovan was born in Hagerstown, MD on February 16, 1949 to the late Kenneth Rhodes Resh and Thelma Welty Resh.  Along with his parents, Donovan is preceded in death by his sister Linda Moffitt and brother Michael Resh.

He is survived by this wife of 41 years, Stephanie Resh, children, Stephanie (Kevin Williams), Donovan L. Resh II (Jacquelyn), Jennifer (Andrew Munn), Daniela (Christopher Hawkins), his eldest brother, Kenneth Daniel Resh (Rosemary), and his four granddaughters, Natalie, Kaitlyn, Adrienne, and Vivienne.

Don proudly served our country in the United States Navy, Petty Officer Second Class, aboard the U.S.S Enterprise during the Vietnam War.  He spent the first half of his career as a Brewing Supervisor for Anheuser Busch, seeing an opportunity in the budding field of technology, he started his own business, and later became C.I.O of a Fortune 500 company.

In retirement, he enjoyed visiting with his neighborhood friends, watching NASCAR, listening to music, and cooking elaborate meals.  Most of all, he loved to be surrounded by his family. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC.  In lieu of a viewing, the family will receive friends for a gathering from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.  The memorial service will be live streamed on Zoom for those unable to travel and the family requests that anyone wishing to attend in person follow social distancing and CDC guidelines during this challenging time.
