Donna Lorene White

Mrs. Donna Lorene Cogdill White, 83, of Stanley, NC died Sunday November 16, 2014 at CMC-Lincoln. Born June 7, 1931 in Madison County NC she was a daughter of the late Alonzo Cogdill and Etta Smith Cogdill. She was a homemaker and assisted her late husband, Earl Baxter White on the farm. Funeral Services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Wednesday November 19, 2014 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Martha's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons; James Pete White and wife Brenda of Walnut Cove, NC and Lonnie Ray White of Stanley; sister, Edith McCracken of Shallotte, NC; Grandson, Steven White and wife Crystal, of Walkertown, NC and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in by her husband Earl Baxter White in 1999 and her brothers, Kenneth Cogdill and Lloyd Cogdill.
