Donna Lee Meaker

Donna Lee (Conrad) Meaker, was a beloved individual who touched the hearts of many throughout her 78 years. She entered the world on October 10, 1945, in Johnson City, NY, and departed peacefully in Mooresville, NC, on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

As a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, she emanated warmth and kindness in all her relationships. She shared a remarkable bond with her husband, Ronald Meaker, who stood by her side for over 60 years. Together they built a family infused with love, which includes their daughter Connie and son-in-law Steve Trollinger, as well as their son Chris Meaker. She took immense joy in her role as a grandmother to Ashlyn and Carissa Trollinger, always cherishing the moments spent with her beloved granddaughters.

Donna was a woman of many talents and interests. Her creativity shone through in her passion for arts and crafts. Whether it was crocheting, cross-stitching, or scrapbooking, she approached each project with enthusiasm and flair. She delighted in making jewelry and had a particular fondness for painting and finishing furniture crafted by her husband. She was known for her eye and talent when it came to interior design. An avid gardener, she found solace and joy in nurturing plants and flowers, bringing beauty and vibrancy to her surroundings.

Her spirit was deeply rooted in her spirituality, embodying a grace and love that resonated with everyone who knew her. A true animal lover, Donna had a special place in her heart for cats, encapsulating her gentle approach to life.

Though Donna has joined her loved ones Andrew Seaman (father), Ruth Conklin Conrad (mother), Genevieve Conklin (grandmother), and Frealing Conklin (grandfather) in eternal rest, her legacy of love and creativity will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who had the honor of sharing in her life.
