Donald Caddell Parsell

Mr. Donald Caddell Parsell, 83, of Charlotte, NC died Sunday October 2, 2011 at CMC University. Born August 3, 1928 in Pulaski County, Virginia he was the son of the late Charles Caddell Parsell and Virginia Blanche Vest Parsell. Mr. Parsell was a member of Northdale Baptist Church where he served a Deacon, a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran and retired from HVAC maintenance. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday October 4 at Northdale Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:00 at the Church. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 60 years, Alice Goad Parsell; son, Donnie Parsell and wife Jennifer of Asheville; daughter, Cindy Kennedy and husband Dennis of Huntersville; grandchildren, Amy Russell and husband Tim, Danny Kennedy, Alex Parsell; great grandson, Andrew Russell and sister, Hazel Pendelton of Bluefield W.Va.
