Donald Alvin Kretschmaier

Mr. Donald Alvin Kretschmaier, 85, of Charlotte, NC died Saturday March 10, 2012 at Saturn Nursing Home in Charlotte. Born March 26, 1926 in Pittsburgh, PA he was a son of the late Alvin and Ruth Yehle Kretschmaier. Mr. Kretschmaier was an insurance agency in Pittsburgh, PA prior to his retirement and relocation to Charlotte to be near his daughter. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday March 15 at Elfinwild Presbyterian Church in Glenshaw, PA. Burial will follow at the Alleghany County Memorial Park Cemetery in Allison Park PA. The family will receive friends Wednesday March 14 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Neely Funeral Home in Glenshaw, PA. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Betty; daughters, Cheryl (Kerry) Carrington and Kathy Novorolsky; sister, Betty Lou Kelch, grandchildren, Natalie and Nathan(Sara) Carrington and Jennifer Novorolsky.
