Derek Wayne Englert

Derek Wayne Englert, 32, of Mooresville, NC died June 30, 2017. Derek was born August 26, 1984 in Charlotte, NC. He enjoyed his time fishing and riding his motor cycle. He loved his family and the holidays that they would spend together, thanksgiving was his favorite. He worked at Carolina Coach Collection where he was a welder/fabricator.

Derek is survived by his loving family; parents, Verla Adkins Englert, of Mooresville, William Englert (Sheryl) of Advance, NC, Darrell McClung (Pops); brothers, Dillon Englert, Marshall McClung; son, Maeson Anthony Jones; maternal grandmother, Mary Adkins; uncles, Gary Massuccy, Huston Adkins, Ron McClung, Tracy McClung, Greg McClung; aunts, Sharon Adkins (Rick), Darlene Goodwin (Scott), Rita McMillion (Stevie), Debbie Cromer (Ricky) Carlene Segee (Jeff); along with numerous cousins and friends.

Derek was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Regis Paul Englers; uncles, Marvin Adkins, Marcel Adkins and Richard Allan Englert.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 4:00 -6:00 pm at the Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home, Huntersville, NC.   Funeral services will follow, at 6:00 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.
