Dennis Corrick, 49, passed away on March 4, 2024 in Charlotte, NC. He was born August 2, 1974 in Charlotte, NC to the late Theodore and Pearline Corrick.
Dennis made his career in towing for over 30 years. He also worked as a chef in several restaurants. Dennis delighted in creating delicious meals. He also enjoyed being outside doing yardwork.
Throughout his life, Dennis was known for his his outgoing personality. He was a social butterfly who never met a stranger, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. He enjoyed watching the Panthers and the San Francisco 49ers as his favorite teams. Additionally, his fondness for the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders added a fun and spirited touch to his already vibrant character.
Beyond his professional career, Dennis found joy in various hobbies and interests. He shared a special bond with his son Matthew over their mutual love for college football, spending countless hours watching games together. His admiration for Jimmie Johnson in NASCAR was evident, showcasing his enthusiasm for the sport. Dennis loved music and dancing. He was a great dancer and enjoyed shag dancing at the VFW when he was younger. He was also a great pool player and loved playing in pool league as well as many tournaments.
In this time of mourning, Dennis is survived by his loving son Matthew Corrick. He also leaves behind his sisters Denise (Donnie) Brooks and Kay Vain, as well as his brothers Bennie (Audrey) Springs and Rickey (Stephanie) Springs. In addition to his immediate family, Dennis is remembered fondly by a multitude of cousins, nieces, and nephews who will cherish the memories they shared with him. His furry companions Radar and RJ were not just pets but cherished members of the family.
Dennis Corrick's presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His kindness, jovial spirit, and willingness to go above and beyond for others have left an indelible mark on all who knew him. May he rest in peace knowing that he touched the lives of many with his generosity and warm heart.
