Deborah “Debbie” Yandle, 69, of Charlotte, NC passed away peacefully on October 14, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. A native to Mecklenburg County she was born on January 30, 1950 to the late Nalle Anthony Swearngan and Jean Isabelle Moore.
Debbie is survived by the love of her life of 50 years, Billy Yandle; daughters, Sandi Yandle and Amy Stokes and her husband Jay; son, Cody Yandle and his wife, Kristen; grandchildren, Holland, Abbie, Ty, Addie, Drew, and Zoe. She is also survived by her sisters, Toni Oxidine, Peggy Hollifield, Pam Schutrumpf, Sarah Pat Vaughan; brother, Robert Swearngan; and many grand-puppies.
Debbie was a beloved preschool teacher at Trinity UMC for 27 years where her love for children was felt by all who were lucky enough to fall under her tender care.
She was a faithful wife and devoted mother. There was nothing that brought her heart more joy than serving her family which included many cherished pets over the years.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home chapel in Huntersville, NC. The family will receive friends following the service.
Memorial Donations may be made in Debbie’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
