Darce Virginia Isenhour

Darce Archer Isenhour, 92, of Huntersville, North Carolina, passed away on November 7, 2019.

Darce "Mama Dot" was born in Mt. Mourne on April 15, 1927 to the late David S. Archer and Pearl Christine Archer.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter "Ike" Isenhour; sisters, Evelyn Archer, Connie Kelly, Alsie Arndt, and Irene Rice; brothers, J.B. Archer, Robert Archer, Ray Archer, Kenneth Archer, and Ted Archer; and son-in-law, Danny Butler.

She is survived by daughters, Teresa Hutchinson and husband John of Charlotte, NC, and Pam Butler of Cornelius, NC; sons, David Isenhour and wife Marlene of Belmont, NC, and Jeff Isenhour and wife Phyllis of Fayetteville, NC; brother, Jack Archer and wife Odessa of Davidson, NC; nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm, Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 16901 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville.  A memorial service will follow visitation at 2:00 pm, also at the funeral home with the Reverend Dr. Jeff Isenhour officiating.  Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery & Memorial Gardens in Charlotte, NC.
