Daniel Gaetano Monti

Daniel Gaetano Monti, 87, of Huntersville, NC died Friday June 21, 2013 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte. Born July 15, 1925 in Manhattan, NY he was a son of the late Salvatore Monti and Fannie Labiento Monti. He was a World War II US Navy veteran and employed as Unit Manager at General Electric prior to his retirement. Services will be private. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 62 years Susan Dassaro Monti; son, Salvatore "Sal" Monti of Cornelius; two granddaughters; one great granddaughter; sister, Marie LaBarbara of Long Island, NY and numerous extended family.
