Daniel Edward McConnell

Daniel Edward McConnell, 57, of Davidson, NC passed away Sunday April 14, 2013. Daniel was born August 15, 1955 in Charlotte, NC to Emma McConnell Rinehart of Maggie Valley, NC. He worked in the construction business and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and a good cup of coffee. Daniel was a huge NASCAR fan. Daniel was preceded in death by his grandmother Leslie McAlister, sisterDebbie Erwin and grandson, Alexander McConnell. Along with his mother, Daniel leaves to cherish his memory his wife Glenda Shelton McConnell of Charlotte; brother, Dewey McConnell of Maggie Valley; sister, Ida Coleen Gaye, of Conway, SC, ; daughter Taghen McConnell of Davidson; granddaughter, Brittney Nichole McConnell; grandson, Nathaniel Edward McConnell, three nieces and two nephews and many extended family and friends. A visitation will be held at the Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home on Thursday April 18, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. and Friday April 19, 2013 from 12-1 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home on Friday April 19, 2013 at 1p.m. Interment will immediately follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens.
