Damien Amzy Gonzalez

 Damien Amzy Gonzalez, 17, of Charlotte, passed away November 15, 2022.  He was born on April 4, 2005 in Cabarrus County to Martiniano and Elizabeth Gonzalez.  

 In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Amir Gonzalez; life partner, Amiya Leak; two brothers, Hayden and Jaylen Gonzalez; one sister, Tonie Boles; grandparents, Ronald and Gloria Christenbury and Cheryl Laforce; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

 Damien had many hobbies which included riding dirt bikes and bicycles, playing soccer and listening to music.  Most important to him was being with his family, especially his son and best friend Dominic Salazar.

 A memorial service will be held on Sunday November 20, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the chapel at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC.
