Dalphus Duckett

Dalphus Irvin Duckett, Jr "Cowboy" age 66 of Charlotte, NC died Saturday March 15, 2014 at the VA Hospital in Durham, NC. Born June 16, 1947 in Charlotte he was a son of the late Dalphus I. Duckett, Sr and Bonnie Jones Duckett. "Cowboy" was a US Army Veteran, serving two tours in Vietnam, and employed in residential construction. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 noon Monday March 24, 2014 in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the VA Cemetery in Salisbury. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Jeannie Pressley of Harrisburg; grandchildren, Jessica, Kaylee and Josh Pressley; sisters, Vivian Shumate and Jean Dobbs of Lincolnton, NC and several nephews and nieces.
