Connie Vara

Connie Mary Vara, 80, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2016. Daughter of the late Vito and Rose Muscarella.

Sister of the late John Muscarella (Marlene).

Survived by her loving husband, Russell; daughter, Marie Pettit (David); son, Russell; daughter, Kathryn McLaughlin (Harry); grandchildren, David and Matthew Pettit; Marisa and Kayla McLaughlin.

A funeral mass will be held 11:30 am on Friday, December 30, 2016 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30 am in the bridal room at the church.

Following the service she will be laid to rest at Carolina Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Church or American Heart Association.
