Concetta Pezzino D'Adamo

Mrs. Concetta "Connie" Pezzino D'Adamo, 89, of Cornelius, died Friday January 31, 2014 at Huntersville Oaks. Born March 16, 1924 in Newark, NJ she was the daughter of late Filippo and Concetta Pezzino. Connie was an active volunteer with her church. She was loved by her family along with her church family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Anthony "Tony" D'Adamo and wife Mary of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Celeste Burkart and husband Robert of Huntersville; brother, Phillip Pezzino; sister, Theresa Heberling; and grandchildren, Charlene Jones and Adam Burkart. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Antonio "Anthony" D'Adamo, her daughter Diane Tuffy and her brother Sal Pezzino. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Bethel Presbyterian Church in Cornelius, with Rev Bill Cain officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the fellowship hall. The family would like to thank Huntersville Oaks for their compassion and care given to Connie.
